OSSAA football championships to be televised live

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Live television coverage of Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) football state championships will begin Friday on FOX Sports Oklahoma Plus.

The 6A championship between Jenks and Norman North kicks off the network’s coverage on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Coverage continues Saturday at 12:30 p.m. with a doubleheader featuring Anadarko and Clinton in the 4A final. The 5A matchup featuring Tulsa East Central against Carl Albert will follow at 7:30 p.m.

FOX  Sports  Oklahoma  will  televise  an  OSSAA  Championship  Spotlight  special  recapping highlights from the Class B (Laverne vs. Pond Creek-Hunter) and Class C (Forgan vs. Tipton) title games at a later date.

Next weekend’s 3A, 2A and 1A championships will be shown live on Friday, Dec.7 and Saturday, Dec. 8. Matchups, dates and times will be determined after this weekend’s semifinals. The 2A and A games will be televised on FOX Sports Oklahoma while the 3A championship will air exclusively on Cox Communications.
