This week’s Players of the Week are Erin Walling, ECU and Gary Inglett, OCU.
Erin Walling, senior, East Central (Hometown: Ada)
Walling had 15 points, including the game-winner with five seconds remaining in the Tigers 51-49 win over Arkansas-Monticello on Saturday. Â She also had six assists in the win that clinched an ECU berth in the GAC postseason. On Thursday, the senior guard scored 20 and had nine boards in an 84-80 win over Henderson State.
Gary Inglett, senior, Oklahoma City (Hometown: Ardmore)
Inglett averaged a double-double in the two OCU wins this weekend. He had 25 points and 13 boards in a big win over SAC-leading Mid-America Christian to get to within one game in the standings. He had 15 points and nine rebounds on Saturday as the Stars avenged an early season loss to Southwestern Christian.
