Lynette Holmes, senior, Langston
Holmes had two double-doubles in which her points doubled up her rebounds, but both totals were big in wins hosting teams from Louisiana. Â She had 30 points and 15 boards as the Lady Lions blew out LSU-Alexandria, 98-68, on Friday. Â LU needed all of her 24 points and 12 rebounds in the 77-73 win over LSU-Shreveport on Saturday. Â Langston remains undefeated at 15-0.
Gary Inglett, senior, Oklahoma City (Plainview H.S.)
The Stars lost two games this week by a total of five points, but Inglett kept them in it in both. He averaged 25 points and 13 rebounds in the two-game span. Inglett put in 28 points, 16 of which (6-6 FT) and eight rebounds in the second half, of the contest with OBU on Saturday.
