The OSN Players of the Week are Jessica Penner, SWOSU, and J.C. Hartzler, RSU.

Jessica Penner, junior, Southwestern (Hometown: Cordell)

Penner had 39 points in a win over Southern Arkansas and set a program record for most points scored in the NCAA Division II era.  It was also the third most in GAC history.  She averaged 25.5 points and 12 rebounds in two wins during the week.  Penner also connected on 19 consecutive field goals during the two-game stretch.

J.C. Hartzler, junior, Rogers State (Hometown: Tulsa, Union H.S.)

Hartzler averaged 23 points for the Hillcats, who went 1-1 this week.  He scored 20 in a win over Texas A&M-International, and seven of 10 in a 10-0 run during a tight first half.  His 26 against St. Mary’s in a double overtime loss matched a career high.
