SHAWNEE – Oklahomans directly affected by this week’s tornadoes will receive free admission to the 2013 St. Gregory’s University Basketball Camp, Cavalier coach Herman Burge has announced. The four-day camp is slated for June 3-6 on the SGU campus.

“Our hearts go out those families affected by this week’s tragic events,” Burge said. “The losses are unimaginable and devastating. By offering these families admission to our camp, we hope it gives them some sort of reprieve from a very difficult and stressful situation.”

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 6 to 17 and will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. It will focus on the fundamentals of basketball through station work, competition with an emphasis on shooting, ball-handling and individual offensive and defensive skills.
