The National Christian College Athletic Association presented teams this week with the Scholar Team Award for the 2012 Fall Semester. The Southern Nazarene and Oklahoma Christian women’s cross country teams made that list.
The award is to honor NCCAA athletic teams that demonstrate academic success in the classroom, emphasize the importance of academics within our national organization, and promote individual student athlete scholarship on the team.
The Crimson Storm women had a collective 3.72 grade point average during the fall semester. The Eagles earned a 3.53 GPA.
