SWOSU announce Flex-Chem Stadium at Milam Field

WEATHERFORD – Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) with locations in Weatherford and Sayre has announced a major sponsorship agreement with Flex-Chem Corporation.

Founded in 2002 by 1995 SWOSU alumnus Bryce Conway, Flex-Chem is a technology company recognized as a leader in providing innovative chemical solutions in the energy production industry. Flex-Chem maintains operations in Weatherford, Edmond, Ada, and Pecos, Texas.

Flex-Chem’s generous sponsorship commitment will provide much-needed financial resources to SWOSU’s athletic programs. In recognition of Flex-Chem’s support, the SWOSU football field will be called “Flex-Chem Field at Milam Stadium” with the first home football game of the season being styled “The Flex-Chem Kickoff Classic.”

“I am grateful to SWOSU for the outstanding start I received there,” said Conway. “It’s a pleasure to be able to give back to my alma mater. I’m excited about this partnership between SWOSU and Flex-Chem!”

Conway is the son of public school administrators who worked in the Brownsville Independent School District. Conway graduated from high school in Brownsville, Texas and went on to study Chemistry and Biology at SWOSU. He resides in Edmond and is the proud father of two sons, Kennan and Jett. The Conway’s attend Memorial Road Church of Christ.

Flex-Chem’s sponsorship of SWOSU athletic programs is stewarded by the SWOSU Foundation, Inc. The Foundation was founded in 1977 to promote philanthropy, award scholarships, and distribute funds to support the activities and programs of SWOSU.
