UCO, SWOSU move up in latest WBCA poll

The Bronchos and the Lady Dawgs are trending upward as the calendar year comes to a close.

Both UCO and SWOSU moved up in the latest Women’s Basketball Coaches Association poll.

Central (11-1) came in at No. 16, jumping seven spots in the ranking. UCO has won six straight and beat in-state non-conference opponents Cameron and Southern Nazarene last week.

Southwestern (9-1) is No. 18 this week, moving up from No. 20. SWOSU got back into the win column this week, defeating Oklahoma Christian, 93-89. The Lady Dawgs’ only loss of the year so far came two weeks ago at No. 4 Lubbock Christian.
