The potential winter storm that is projected to move through the OKC/Texas area this week has forced changes to the Mid-America Christian University men’s and women’s basketball schedule.
Initially scheduled for Thursday night at 6 & 8 p.m., the MACU men’s and women’s teams will now playtomorrow afternoon (Dec. 4) at Texas Wesleyan University in the Sooner Athletic Conference opener for both teams.
The women will play tomorrow at 2 p.m., followed by the men at 4 p.m.
The Evangels are still set to host Langston University tonight (Dec. 3) at 7 p.m. as scheduled inside the Gaulke Activity Center.
• Class 6A State Championship Game in Stillwater
The OSSAA has not made a decision yet regarding the Jenks/Union football game, set to be held at Boone Pickens Stadium starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday. The staff is going over options and staying in contact with the teams and a decision will not be made until tomorrow morning at the earliest.
The main concern of the OSSAA is to try to ensure the safety of the participating teams and the spectators.
