The Bronchos and Bulldogs will continue to play in 2013.
Central and Southwestern were among the five teams to advance out of the Central/Midwest super regional tournament in men’s golf.
The 18th ranked Bronchos finished second with a three-round score of 289-284-291, coming in even at 864. Southwestern held off charges from Grand Valley State and Northeastern State to grab the final spot to advance with a +10 score of 295-287-293=874.
Northeastern State wound up in seventh place in the regional tournament, Cameron finished 15th and Southeastern came in 20th.
The national tournament will be in Hershey, Pa., on May 20-24.
