Diggins tops in WNBA Western Conference All-Star votes

Skylar Diggins garnered the most votes of Western Conference players and was voted to be a starter in the 2015 WNBA All-Star Game.

It is the second consecutive year for Diggins to be voted a starter for the exhibition, but she will not play in this year’s contest due to a season-ending knee injury.

Diggins (with 15,895 votes) wasn’t the only member of the Tulsa Shock to get support from the fans. Guard Odyssey Sims was eighth in the West’s backcourt voting (2,807), despite having played in only four contest this season because of her own injury.

The Shock had two players earn votes to the represent the West in the front court. Courtney Paris was seventh in the voting (2,591) and Plenette Pierson was ninth (2,018).
