Stars on their respective state championship teams, Hillary Hurst and Taylor Hedrick shined again on Tuesday night in a field of many stars taking the court at Woodward.
Classic Bowl XXVIII got underway Tuesday night with two all-star girls basketball games at Woodward High School Gymnasium.
Hurst helped the Red Team to a 62-31 win over the White Team in Game 1. The White Team got the win in Game 2, 58-55, with a strong showing from Hedrick.
Hillary Hurst took the court one more time before a home crowd in Woodward. The leader of the Boomer team that took the Class 5A state title, Hurst put in eight straight points in the second half and tied for a game high in scoring at 15 points.
Burlington’s Sarah Garvie also scored 15 and Texhoma’s Sarah Murphy put in 13 in the win.

The second game of the evening was much closer. Taylor Hedrick, who led Seiling to the Class A, scored six of the White Team’s last 10 points and had a game high 12 points. Vici’s Misti Boatman tallied 12 for the Red to share the game high.
