• Cameron golf

• Hometown: Lindale, Texas

• Psychology major who will graduate in May 2019

• Played volleyball and golf in high school; plays golf at CU

• Favorite teams: “The Cameron Aggies is for sure one of them! I have also been a die-hard Oklahoma Sooner fan since I was little. Even though I was born in Houston, Texas, my dad was a huge influence on turning me into a Sooner!”

• Favorite sports moment – personal: “My favorite personal moment would definitely be the time I went under par for the first time. I scored a 2 under (70) for the first round of the OBU Tournament in the fall of 2017. It was a huge step in my career and I was very proud of myself. It was great to see my scores posted in red numbers!”

• Favorite sports moment – overall: “My favorite sports moment overall would have to be the time we won the OBU tournament my freshman year (2015). It was my first semester as a collegiate athlete and winning that tournament was such an exciting moment for us all. It was also the first team win Coach Williams had as the head coach of the women’s golf team at Cameron!”

• What do you like most about CU? “What I like most about Cameron is that many of the Students and Student-Athletes support one another. When a team has a game, match, tournament, or meet everyone is wishing each other the best of luck. To me, that really boosts confidence and let’s us know that people are rooting for us to do well. The bond that everyone has makes my college experience way more fun and comfortable. I also like all the available resources Cameron gives to help with academics. When someone is having trouble in a certain subject there is always someone there to help!”

• Who do you most look up to? “I look up to my Parents and Coach Williams. My parents have been by my side through everything and kept me on the right path in life. They show me tremendous amount of love and support, and I couldn’t be anymore grateful to have them as my parents. Coach Williams is like my mom away from home. She is always there when I need her whether it be golf related or something personal. I love the way she coaches and I admire her as a person. I definitely picked the right coach for my collegiate career!”

• Goals: “Golf wise, my goal is to better improve my scores. I would like my overall average to be around par or lower. I am also thinking about trying to qualify for professional tournaments and tours after I am done with school. I am planning on getting my masters degree in Sports Psychology when I am done here at Cameron.”
