MOBILE, Ala. – The Cameron men’s and women’s tennis teams took care of Spring Hill with a pair of 9-0 sweeps on Tuesday.
The CU women, who are ranked no. 17 in the ITA rankings, dominated the Badgers, winning 8-0 in all three doubles matches.
Cameron also excelled in the singles matches, with Samantha Wood, Magdalena Kovinic, and Viola Lugmayr all won 6-0, 6-0, with the other three matches ending in two set victories for the black and gold.
In the men’s match, the no. 16 ranked Aggies started off the match by sweeping all three doubles matches with a pair of 8-3 wins in the one and two doubles match and an 8-1 win in the third match.
In singles, Vinicius Santos, Julen Gutierrez, and Andres Velasco all won 6-0, 6-0, while the other three men’s players also won their matches in two sets.
The Cameron men and women will end their road trip on Tuesday as they visit Pensacola, Fla. for a pair of matches against top-10 ranked West Florida.
